Dua Lipa shared  her experiences of growing in both the UK and Kosovo, amidst the constant juggle.

Sitting with the BBC, the 27-year old said, “from a young age, I had the dream to be a pop star but it never seemed like something that was actually possible, I've been a new girl all my life.”

Lipa then added, "I understood the duality of my heritage from an early age.”

The New Rules hit-maker moved into Kosovo at the age of 11 but got back to the British Capital, UK, at 15 to complete her high school education.

"People would always ask where my name is from. I was really proud of it, but when I was younger I wished my name was, say, Hannah — something 'normal' and English,” continued Lipa.

By 17, the Break My Heart crooner had decided to focus on her music career and luckily pursued it in the future.

"I was quite determined. My dad says I'm very hard to say no to!I was really persistent. I just started writing a lot, working with a producer. I was 17. I was offered a publishing deal but [producer] Felix told me to go to a lawyer, who said, 'Don't sign that deal!' They then helped me get into the studio."

After winning hearts with her captivating vocals Lipa conquered the fashion hemisphere too  and joined forces  with a high-end fashion brand   Versace's La Vacanza women collection.
