The Dubai Mall gets stripped off its 'The' as per proof
Dubai’s largest mall ‘The Dubai Mall’ got a new name change and viral photos are proof.
The Kenyan national Zahra Khimji, a worker at the mall, posted two photos that were clicked two months apart, showcasing the title.
As viewed by millions the iconic ‘The’ has been stripped off the name just after 14 years of the mall’s opening.
Zahra had noticed the name change and so decided to capture the new look in the form of a portrait as a treat to netizens.
“I was waiting after work when I saw the name of the mall changed. I was pretty sure I had a photo of the mall’s name with the ‘The’. I browsed through my phone and, sure enough, I had one that I clicked during the holy month of Ramadan,”the lady informed Khaleej Times.
The mall had first announced its new name change via a TikTok video.
A project announced By Emaar set its grand location next to the Burj Khalifa, tourists look forward to shop and witness the fountain show at the mall. The mall has over 1200 retail outlets offering variations and hundreds of food outlets with unique tastes, soothing buds.
