Music knows no borders and Pakistani singing legend Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has proved!

Qawwali and classical music maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Indian rapper Sidhu Moosewala on his first death anniversary on May 29.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, during his show in Oakland, U.S, left the audience spellbound as he paid a moving tribute to Moosewala, who was shot dead by a group of assailants in Mansa district.

Remembering the famed rapper, the Afreen Afreen singer dedicated his Akhian Udeek Diyan qawwali performance to Moosewala during his live concert and left the crowd overwhelmed.

Several videos from the concert went viral on the internet, garnering massive praise for  the Teri Ore singer.

In a clip, Khan was heard saying, "Yeh abhi jo qawwali pesh karne jaraha hoon main, yeh Sidhu Moosewala ko yaad karte huye karna chahunga (The qawwali that I am going to present now, I would like to remember Sidhu Moosewala through this)."

Fans praised Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on Instagram and Twitter, with one fan writing, "Music transcends all barriers."
