Kourtney Kardashian dished details of her IVF journey while discussing the misconception among the people regarding the process.

The Kardashians alum opened up about her and husband Travis Barker’s mutual decision to  cease the process in latest episode of the Hulu series.

Kardashian revealed that many years before meeting her husband she had "seven" of her eggs frozen.

"When I was 38 or 39, everyone was like pushing me to do that," the Poosh founder revealed.

Kourtney further recalled, "most of mine didn’t survive the thaw because eggs are one cell, and none of them made it into an embryo."-

"The freezing of eggs isn’t guaranteed," she told. "It’s a misunderstanding, people do it thinking it's a safety net, and it's not."

Reflecting on the effects of this process on her mental health, Kourtney revealed, "my health is still impacted because it's hormones, and mentally it definitely took a toll.”

“I think being happy is what's important and being a good parent to my kids. We're just embracing that whatever is meant to be will be,” she added.

For the unversed, Kourtney has three kids, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, whom she shares with her ex-lover Scott Disick. She was in a relationship with Disick for almost 9 years.
