I am a Barbie girl…but, in the real world!
Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Margot Robie’s starrer Barbie, the film is set to hit the cinemas on July 21, 2023.
The newly shared trailer offers a glimpse into Barbie’s life in the real world, where she can be seen facing difficulty in keeping up with day-to-day complexities and realities.
The trailer also showcases Ryan Gosling as Barbie’s love interest Ken.
Although, the plotline of the film is mostly kept under wraps, the new trailer focuses on the existential crisis Barbie is going through, after enjoying sometime out of her pink-coded plastic lifestyle.
Greta Gerwig is serving as the director and co-writer on Barbie, alongside her husband, Noah Baumbach.
Last year, during her appearance at the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Robbie said, “I can’t tell you how mortified we were, by the way,” she further added, “we look like we’re like laughing and having fun, but we’re dying on the inside. Dying. I was like, this is the most humiliating moment of my life”
