Priyanka Chopra has dropped an exciting update on the renewal of her blockbuster hit series Citadel.

The Love Again actress has officially confirmed that the spy-thriller action series has been renewed for a second season on Amazon Prime Video.

Priyanka turned to her Instagram on May 26 and shared a Deadline report screenshot, confirming the arrival of season two of the hit series starring Priyanka and Richard Madden in the lead roles.

The Quantico actress, 40, captioned the post, “S2 is coming!! Looking forward to it @jennifersalke @therussobrothers. But for now watch the finale episode on @PrimeVideo @citadelonprime”

Priyanka’s fans and fellow stars expressed their excitement. Sameera Reddy commented, “I absolutely loved the first season.” PeeCee’s mother Madhu Chopra applauded the latest announcement.

Priyanka and Richard starrer Citadel season two will be directed by Joe Russo and executive producer David Weil will return as the showrunner.

Citadel season one, released on April 28, became Prime Video's second most-watched original series outside US and the fourth most-watched show worldwide.

Besides Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, Citadel cast includes Lesley Manville and Stanley Tucci among others.
