Following the clickbait promo, which left the audience in shock as it hinted at marital rape between Murtasim Khan (played by Wahaj Ali) and Meerab (played by Yumna Zaidi), fans took to social media platforms and expressed confusion over the plotline.

The Tere Bin fans were left confused as the new episode featured edited scenes following fans’ strong backlash, which changed the drama’s trajectory.

Viewers were disappointed after the episode included bizarre voiceovers, in which the protagonists were explaining their thoughts about breaching their no-intimacy contract and then regretting it.

Many fans believed that the Tere Bin makers attempted to save Murtasim’s image and changed the plot from marital rape to consensual consummation. ,
