Mawra Hocane, Ameer Gilani to return on small screens with upcoming drama 'Neem'
Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani rose to fame after delivering outstanding performances in drama serial 'Sabaat'
The wait is finally over as the fan favourite on-screen couple Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani are pairing up again for their upcoming drama, Neem.
The Sabaat famed duo wowed the audience in the teaser of their upcoming drama.
The teaser was shared on Instagram with the caption, “get ready for an impactful journey with Mawra Hussain and Ameer Gilani in the new teaser of Neem, a gripping drama serial from the makers of Parizaad. Brace yourself for an unforgettable experience!”
Neem is directed by Shahzad Kashmiri, and penned by Kashif Anwar. Speaking about the show, Gilani told a local publication that the genre of the drama is “life”.
“It’s not just one story. Kashif (Anwar) bhai has written a beautiful concoction of stories which are all correlated yet detached.”
Ameer Gilani began his career with the drama Log Kia Kahengay in 2019 but gained immense popularity after his second serial Sabaat.
“Working with Mawra is always a breeze. I learn a lot from her, about the craft and work ethics in general,” the actor said.
Calling his character a “pure soul”, Gilani said that he “really enjoyed playing Asshad.” The drama also stars Syed Jibran, Mariyam Nafees and Yousuf Bashir Qureshi.
