Aditya Singh Rajput, an actor and model by profession, was found dead in the washroom of his Mumbai residence on Monday. He was just 32-years-old. 

The news agency titled ANI confirmed reports of his demise and police forces were deployed to carry out investigations in the situation.

The police was quoted saying, "Actor Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Andheri area. Body sent for post-mortem. Investigation underway.”

His body was recovered by a friend who immediately took him to a nearby hospital but unfortunately he was declared dead on arrival.

Details as to what caused Aditya’s death remains under wraps but some reports believed he might have passed away due to a drug overdose.

The star’s demise filled a void in the hearts of many around and his last rites will be performed today. 

Aditya made vast contributions to the industry with his dedication. He first appeared  in more than 25 advertisements which include the  popular Hero Honda Ad with actor Hrithik Roshan and cricketer Saurav Ganguly and later auditioned for roles. 

Most importantly , he is very well-known for his stellar portrayal in the reality TV show Splitsvilla 9.
