Jennifer Lopes and Ben Affleck have been in the spotlight since recently being caught on camera in the middle of what looked like an argument at the premiere of Lopez's Netflix film The Mother.

A relationship coach Katie Mansfield has exclusively  spoke to The Mirror  , about Lopez and Affleck's relationship.

"It seems like the Honeymoon period has ended, and the reality phase has begun!" she said.

She further explained, "In relationships it generally takes 6-12 months to play out the rose tinted versions of each other, and then after a year or so the reality of who the person really is creeps in."

"This can be heightened in celebrity relationships due to the excitement and fantasy aspect of their lifestyles," Mansfield noted.

Previously it was suggested that the Argo actor wants a "quieter life" and "slow down", while the singer was labeled as an "all-or-nothing" kind of girl.

Mansfield further emphasized that "Jennifer needs to reflect on how her behaviors may need reigning in, it equally could be that Ben has demands and habits that just don't fit with her views of what life is all about."

"With two big personalities - it's not an easy one to see how this can work long term," she noted.

The couple rekindled their romance two years ago and tied the knot in 2022.
