Vin Diesel shared an emotional reason of not giving any update about the future of the Fast & Furious franchise, amid the release of Fast X on May 19, 2023.

In an exclusive conversation with ET, Diesel told with a laugh, “The last time I told my daughter [it] was the last one, all I saw was tears.”

He further added, “so I gotta be really careful [about] who and what I say."

However, the newly released film is not the last installment of the franchise, as the actor has revealed at this year’s CinemaCon that an 11th movie is slated for a 2025 release.

"We have such a great cast," Diesel said of the incredible cast. "We lead with love. We try to create an environment where people can do their best work."

"That's all actors really want, is to feel as though they're supported to create unique characters. Characters that last forever," he further noted, "and you see that in this franchise."

Fast X is the tenth movie of the Fast and Furious franchise, starring Vin Diesel as the main protagonist and Jason Momoa as the villain.

The newly released film follows the star-studded cast traveling from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh and from the secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the streets of Tbilisi in order to keep the Fast family protect.
