David Beckham has been continuing his passion for bees and bee-keeping as he celebrated International World Bee Day on Saturday (May 20).
The former British footballer turned to his Instagram handle and shared a video of himself busy with bee-keeping duties.
David shared the video with the caption, “World Bee Day Bee grateful, Bee kind, Bee sweet”
The former Manchester United star’s post garnered hundreds of likes and comments in no time. Fans and fellow celebrities took to the comments section and wished the footballer on Bee day.
Ricky Champs jokingly commented, “David Bee kham.”
David Beckham’s World Bee Day post came a few days after he gave a jar of home-produced honey as the Coronation gift to King Charles III at an awards ceremony in London.
Britain’s monarch visited the 180 Studios art gallery in the Strand to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.
David Beckham gifted a jar of honey to the King, who has kept beehives at his royal estates. While accepting the present, King Charles thanked him and quipped, “we shall have to do a swap.”
