Veteran actress Bushra Ansari shared her painful divorce from first husband Iqbal Ansari  as she sat for a candid chat.

Despite being the legend, Ansari faced own set of problems in her personal life.

In an interview with Fuchsia magazine, the Ho Mann Jahaan actress spilled about her marriage experience.

"It is a very difficult experience and no one wants their marriage to break apart. I have lived 10 years in separation from my ex-husband but people never knew that,” said Ansari.

She continued, “we kept our marriage intact for our children but finally decided it was not working out for us.”

The ex husband and wife still hold great respect for each other.

“ I have never spoken negatively about my ex-husband nor has he as we will always stay connected through our kids.”

After one failed marriage the Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat superstar did not lose hope as she gave love another chance, "the second chance at love was by chance and I gave myself that chance.”

“Society does not accept the idea of a woman’s second marriage but my daughters supported me.”
