Priscilla Presley faces disappointment after burial spot request next to Elvis
Priscilla Presley’s request for the burial spot next to late ex husband Elvis Presley has been rejected
Priscilla Presley, who recently came to a settlement with family over late daughter Lisa Marie’s estate, faced disappointment after her request for burial spot next to her late ex husband Elvis got rejected.
As confirmed by the sources to TMZ, the 77-year-old requested to get buried next to the late singer, in Memphis, Graceland, but her plea was rejected right away.
Despite the fact, that several other members of the Presley family have been buried on the grounds of the legendary mansion.
Lisa Marie, who passed away on January 12, 2023, after suffering from cardiac arrest, was laid to rest next to her beloved son Benjamin Keough.
For the unversed, the recent family settlement comes after a rumored feud between Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley Keough,as lawyers for Priscilla filed a petition in Los Angeles questioning the "authenticity and validity" of a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's living trust.
Priscilla also claimed that she had no knowledge about the 2016 amendment until after her daughter’s death, she also emphasized that it should be voided because Lisa Marie did not inform her about the changes, although she was bound to do so, as per the required terms of the trust.
However, Lisa Marie's friend claimed "there's zero question" as her wishes were, "Lisa wanted Riley and Ben to be the trustees", and all her children to be the beneficiaries.
