Taylor Lautner made a witty comment about Taylor Swift's ex John Mayer in latest interview
Taylor Lautner, who once was in a brief relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift has reacted to the announcement of singer’s revised album Speak Now.
During his recent conversation with Today.com, the Twilight star made a witty comment about one of Swift’s exes John Mayer while talking about the Midnights hit maker’s album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).
"I think it's a great album. Yeah, I feel safe," he told the publication.
"praying for John," the singer said jokingly.
For the unversed, Mayer and Swift were in a relationship in 2009, later in 2010, the Anti-Hero songstress released a track titled Dear John, to give fans a peek into her rocky relationship with Mayer,32, while she was only 19 at that time.
A line from the track said, "Don't you think 19 is too young / To be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?"
Since then, Mayer is trolled by Swifties, while, Lautner dated Swift in 2009 for a few months.
After their breakup the actor became the subject of Swift's track Back to December, which was also included in old version of her album Speak Now.
