Shakira released the much-awaited music video of her new ballad Acróstico on Monday and surprised fans with a sweet glimpse of her two sons Mila, 10, and eight-year-old Sasha.

The Columbian songstress, 46, dedicated the new track to her sons, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Gerard Piqué.

Shakira, the three-time Grammy winner sang and played the piano beside her young boys in the music video and left fans in awe.

The music video appeared to be recorded amidst the Waka Waka crooner’s move from the lavish Barcelona mansion to Miami following her breakup.

Shakira teased the song release on her Instagram. “This year, Milan has written songs that brought me to tears of emotion and Sasha has spent hours on the piano, discovering his voice,” the Emmy-nominated singer penned in Spanish.

“Both have shared by my side in the studio and upon hearing this song dedicated to them asked me to be part of it. They have felt and performed it for themselves and for themselves, with the passion and feeling of the music carries within,” she added.

Shakira concluded, “Milan and Sasha, it's so beautiful to see you spread your wings to start realizing your dreams! There is nothing that makes me feel more complete than being their mom.”

Acróstico is the third single from Shakira's upcoming 12th studio album.
