Bollywood’s famed Anushka Sharma and Amitabh Bachchan created quite a buzz online with bike rides.

While the two did garner much appreciation for bringing to life the bike trend they really did garner backlash for not wearing helmets.

Taking to Instagram, the Uunchai actor shared a peek into his journey as he asked a random person to give him a lift for work owing to the heavy traffic in India. 

 “Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to the location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T - shirt owner," wrote  Bachchan. 

On the other hand, footage of the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star went viral  where  she too opted for bike rides to get to the dubbing studio on time. 

On the work front, Anushka and Amitabh both are heavily occupied with the shoot of their respective projects. 

Sharma has Chakda Xpress lined up in her kitty while Amitabh eagerly works for Project K.
