Riley Keough has shared a heartfelt message for late mother Lisa Marie Presley on first Mother’s Day since Presley’s death.

Keough turned to Instagram on Sunday May 14, 2023 to share an old photo of her parents holding the actress who was an infant at that time.

“Lucky to have had the best and most deeply loving mama I could have asked for,” wrote the actress alongside the photo.

The Daisy Jones and the Six actress is Presley’s eldest child, whom she shared with her boyfriend Danny.

For the unversed, Presley died on January 12 this year due to cardiac arrest. She is an American singer and songwriter and daughter of singer Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley.

This heartfelt tribute on social media comes in the wake of her strained relationship with grandmother Priscilla, who is contesting the late singer’s will, which removed her mother as a trustee.

As per 2016's ammendmant,  Keough is now the trustee of Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion and she also owns 15% of the singer’s estate.
