Popular Pakistani actress Madiha Iftikhar, who just made a small screen  comeback with  Chand Tara, revealed why she once left acting.

Sitting for a candid chat  with Ayaz Samoo on the Night Show Iftikhar  said, "Actors can’t leave acting, I heard this before but now I think this is true, you would agree with me, the actors have this psychological thing that they would remain indecisive, I was in the phase when I really wanted to do acting and at the same time I wanted to leave and marry and enjoy life, I used to think why am I doing acting and I was also curious about the people who used to have a restful and relaxing life."

 "When I got married, my husband said, ‘you can resume acting after a break’, but I said, ‘I would not do acting now, I would do rest now’, but it was my temporary decision, I did Mera Haq in 2018." 

Iftikhar had an on and off relationship with her work . After tying-the-knot in 2015 she rested well  and rejoined the industry in 2018 . 

She then  disappeared again after  2018 and  is now back.
