Singers Asim Azhar and Abdul Hannan have postponed their respective song releases amidst the political turmoil in Pakistan.

Asim had been actively working on a single in collaboration with a Norwegian lady to  carve a  mark on the international music scene.

As uncertainty prevails, the Habibi crooner took to his Instagram stories handle and penned that he does not feel the need to celebrate in such harsh times.

“Dear fans, I know you all have been waiting for an update on the news single. But because of what's going on in my country [Pakistan], I don't think it's right to release and promote anything until everything is back to normal. As artists, we only want love and tolerance around each one of us. Praying for everyone. Stay tuned, I promise it will be worth it,” Asim conveyed his message.

At the same time Hannan too was looking forward to the launch of his much-anticipated Aankhon Aankhon Mein but the latest turn of events continue to haunt him.

He announced, “In light of recent events, the release has been postponed. Heart bleeds for the country and my people. Yearning for better times.”

With the recent delay the artists proved that together they would work towards the unity of their nation above personal ambitions.
