Netflix series The Witcher star Anya Chalotra expressed her thoughts on the exit of co-actor Henry Cavill from the series after season 3, which is scheduled to be released in two volumes.

Volume 1 will be releasing on June 29, 2023 and the second volume will be premiered on the streaming platform on July 12.

In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, the actress who is playing Yennefer opposite Cavill’s Geralt opened up about the future of the series after the abrupt departure of  the Superman actor.

"All we knew were the feelings that we have when any season comes to an end. It's full of pride and love and accomplishment for what we've done," Chalotra said.

She further continued, "so, we stayed in that moment rather than anything else. The news was... yeah, it's hard to take because he's a crucial part of the show and we all adore him. So, we're gonna miss him a lot. I wish him all the best."

In the upcoming season 3 of The Witcher , Geralt and Yennefer will be seen traveling to Aretuza to keep Ciri hidden. As she begins magical training and lands herself  in the midst of political corruption and dark magic.
