Instagram is developing a new feature that will allow users to add music and songs to the photo carousels. 

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the news on his Instagram broadcast channel, noting that it’s already available in a “few countries with more to come.” 

While the phot-video-sharing app already has a similar feature that lets you add songs to individual photos, the latest feature will make it available to a carousel of pictures. 

The new feature will also offer users to listen to music while swiping through multiple photos in a carousel. 

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg also mentioned that Instagram is testing a way to add music to Notes, the AIM-like feature that lets you share a status with friends. 

In a video posted to Zuckerberg’s channel, users can see how the platform will let them select and attach a portion of a song to the Note, much like you would add music to an individual post or Reel.
