Selena Gomez   came forward to slam  all the harsh social media bullying  against Hailey Bieber and  the latter is more than grateful. 

Gomez has finally extended the olive branch   after weeks of an online feud where one thing led to another. 

The two were pitted against each other  by netizens and this led to  a huge  online outbreak  and this took a toll over Justin Bieber's wife Hailey's mental well-being. She was even badly abused by large crowds who chanted in F**ck Hailey.

But now the beef seems to be over as Gomez has now shut all the haters , "Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I've always advocated for kindness and really want all of this to stop." 

Much to Hailey's disbelief the Only Murders In The Building star took a stand for her  and this  really made the model feel happy and calm and so penned in a thankyou message for her. 

She said,  "I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks about how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I." 

"The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this, which is extremely harmful. While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together. Things can always be taken out of context or constructed differently from what they were intended," she adds. 

To the surprise of their fans and followers both   have started following each other on Instagram.
