Actress Reese Witherspoon calls it quits  with husband Jim Toth after 11 years of togetherness. 

The estranged couple confirmed their separation with an official statement just a few days prior to their 12th wedding anniversary. 

"We have some personal news to share... It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together," they said in a joint statement. 

Further adding, "Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone's respect for our family's privacy at this time."

As per latest reports, it was an amicable decision and both hold no hard feelings instead  will remain good friends and are reportedly planning to co-parent their 10-year-old son Tennessee  James.  

Witherspoon first met the talent agent  after breaking up with Jake Gyllenhaal  and they  fell so much in love that they got engaged  in December 2010 and one year later got married  in a dreamy wedding affair held at  the Legally Blonde star's ranch in  Ojai, Calif.
