Bollywood superstar Salman Khan received death threats by email and after staunch police investigations it has been discovered that the emails sent were linked to a phone number in the UK. 

Mumbai police have been on the go since Khan's life posed danger and even tightened security outside his house in Bandra.

According to News18, the officials are now trying to trace the person  in whose name the number is registered.  An FIR was also  filed against a gangster   Lawrence Bishnoi , Goldie Brar and Rohit Brar for   threatening the  Ek Tha Tiger star. 

To note the email was sent soon  after Lawrence interview from jail  went live on a news channel. He used quite dangerous words and claimed he will kill Khan if he does not apologize to the community and called him arrogant  just like the late rapper Sidhu Moose Wala. 

The email text states, "Goldy Bhai (Goldy Brar) ko BAAT krni hai Tere boss Salman se. Interview dekh hi Liya Hoga usne shayad nhi dekha ho toh bol diyo dekh lega. Matter close krna hai to BAAT krva dio, face to face krna ho vo bta dio. Abi time rehte inform krdiya hai agli baar jhatka hi dekhne ko milega."
