Ed Sheeran broke down in tears while recalling the most difficult moments of his life.

In the trailer for the upcoming docu-series The Sum Of It All this week, the singer talked about his wife Cherry Seaborn’s serious health issues.

He said: “Cherry’s health, it was really bad. You guys said, ‘Do you want to make a documentary?’ And I went, ‘Yeah! And it should be me in the studio’ …. that’s not what the documentary is.”

He further said: “Life is unpredictable. Plans can change, really quickly.”

Previously, the Grammy-winning artist also talked about his wife's health scare in an Instagram post and mentioned that “a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art.”

He wrote: “his pregnant wife got told she had a tumour, with no route to treatment until after the birth.”

“friend Jamal, a brother to me, died suddenly, and I found myself standing in court defending my integrity and career as a songwriter,” he added.

Sheeran revealed that he was “spiraling through fear, depression, and anxiety” at the time.

The four-part series docuseries will be available on Disney+ on May 3rd, 2023.
