Hollywood's Paris Hilton revealed she had an abortion in her 20's and never talked about it  out of shame. 

As people are becoming more open-minded with time, Hilton decided to come forward and talk about her troubled past in the February issue of Glamour Magazine. 

Talking about the sexual assault as a teenager,  Hilton said,  "This was also something that I didn't want to talk about because there was so much shame around it."

"I was a kid, and I was not ready for that."

Also the Rode V Wade abortion rule   made her feel motivated on sharing her  abortion story  with the public. 

Later, she also began to reiterate   about a woman's body and their rights towards it.  "I think it is important,  There’s just so much politics around it and all that, but it’s a woman’s body—why should there be a law based on that?”

"It’s your body, your choice, and I really believe in that. It’s mind-boggling to me that they’re making laws about what you do with your reproductive health, because if it were the other way around with the guys, it would not be this way at all." 

She then also further spoke about the sexual harassment she faced in Utah. Dark childhood stories kept under wraps were therefore all  spilled.
