After so many buzz about the new sequel of Hera Pheri 3, finally a recent development suggests that the original cast may reunite for the third installment.

The news outlet PinkVilla reported that Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty had a long meeting with the film producer Firoz Nadiadwala at the Empire studio in Mumbai to discuss the film.

An insider split to the outlet that: "The original Hera Pheri gang reunites to take this cult franchise forward. While ample meetings about the script have happened over the last few months, the team is now confident that Hera Pheri 3 will do complete justice to all the hype and anticipation around part 3 of Hera Pheri."

"Right from the producer, Firoz Nadiadwala to the actors – Akshay, Paresh, and Suniel are all excited with positivity to return on the set as Raju, Shyam, and Baburao," the source added.

Since few months, there was confusion regarding the casting of the ‘Raju’ role as Akshay backed out from the film. However, the reports speculated that Kartik Aaryan will be seen in the 'Raju' role.
