Shameen Khan is one of the fresh new faces of the entertainment world who has entered into acting through theatre. 

Her uncle, a painter, was the first to recognize her talent and encouraged her to take acting courses at NAPA. From there, Shameen got her first break and was selected to perform in a stage play Merchant of Venice directed by the legendry Zia Mohyeddin. 

Moreover, Zia’s wife introduced her to Sakina Samoo who gave her big chance on television in Gohr-e-Nayab. 

Shameen has done several successful plays including Hina Ki Khushboo, Dharkan, Bharosa Pyar Tera and Khuda Aur Muhabbat. 

MAG the weekly had a quick chat with the actress  to find out a little more about her life.

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

Passionate, Extremist, down to earth, happy soul and supportive

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love watching series on Netflix. I go on a long drive and I like spending time with myself.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

I watched You.

What do you consider the ultimate comfort food?

These days I am only having salads so can’t think of anything else.

What's your annoying habit?

I keep myself quiet at times when it is needed to say it out.
