Speculations were that gurus of commercial cinema Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are coming together to bring yet another hit for Indian commercial cinema, which was to be released on Eid 2024, however, the parties have confirmed no such plans have been made, hence the collaboration is not happening.

A source from the Times of India confirms, "Contrary to the reports that have been doing the rounds, Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are not collaborating again. There were rumors about Salman giving his nod for a big-scale commercial action drama, which will go on floors next year and release in Eid 2024. However, these are hearsay and there is no truth to these stories."

Rumors also stated that Salman was supposed to undergo a vigorous physical transformation for the film. But, since the film never existed, he is paying attention to his already lined up projects Kisi ka Bhai Kisi ka Jaan which will be released in 2022, and Tiger 3 which is all set to be released in 2023. It is also speculated that Salman will begin work on Dabangg 4 soon.
